TREDS Releases Online Courses for CMV Industry

The UC San Diego Transportation Research and Education for Driving Safety (TREDS) center is pleased to offer Just Drive: Deliver Distraction-Free courses aimed at preventing distracted driving among CMV drivers.

1. Online Course for CMV Drivers
   This 60-minute course, now available in both English and Spanish, addresses the risks and consequences of distracted driving and offers practical strategies to avoid cell phone use behind the wheel. Accessible via computer or mobile device, it offers video modules, learning activities, and a certificate of completion.

2. Online Train-the-Trainer for Instructors
   This course prepares safety professionals to deliver the ‘Just Drive’ program to CMV drivers. Upon completion, participants gain access to program materials, including PowerPoint slides, print resources, video clips, social media posts, and a course completion certificate.
