Aging Drivers

This research addresses the roles of medical, behavioral, social, technological, and environmental factors in safe driving among older adults for 20 years. Evidence-based curriculum has been tested with target audiences including passenger vehicle drivers, physicians and law enforcement. Naturalistic prospective studies and simulator studies have provided fundamental information on the predictors and prevention of adverse driving outcomes in aging drivers.
