Teens: Alcohol and Cannabis

Vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for teens, with a quarter of those crashes involving alcohol. Young drivers with a blood alcohol content of .08% are 17 times more likely to die in a crash when compared to those who had not been drinking. DUI crashes are 100% preventable. Education can raise awareness of the dangers associated with driving impaired by alcohol and cannabis.
