Just Drive: Deliver Drug-Free Safety Summit 2024
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration awarded TREDS a high priority grant to address substance-related safety and compliance among CDL holders in California. In March 2024, TREDS addressed this critical issue by hosting a summit for fleet safety leaders to expand their knowledge on:
- Substance use trends among CMV drivers
- Model policies and programs that address substance use
- Action planning for driver safety
- Educational programs to reduce impaired driving

CMV Safety Webinar
As a follow-up opportunity to the "Just Drive: Deliver Drug-Free" Safety Summit in March 2024, this event invited Summit attendees and fleet safety leaders from across California to a free 90-minute webinar aimed at improving roadway safety by preventing drug-impaired driving. Attendees received industry updates and engaged in interactive discussions with peers and speakers.
